The special meal on November 14, served the bank staff, raised funds through free-will donation from those enjoying the lunch.

Burwell, president of the fair board, and Anderson, its secretary, say this and other donations are being used to make needed repairs and improvements to fairgrounds buildings in time for the the centennial edition of the county fair next July 25-29.

A $2000 donation to the Marshall County Fair Repair the Fair building fund has been made by the Wikstrom Telephone Company/Wiktel of Karlstad, presented by Wikstrom employees Colette Kujava and Wendy Blazejewski.

"Wiktel serves many customers in the Marshall County area with telephone and internet services and is proud to support the events of this landmark year," stated Kujava.
